Overview

This module focuses on proactive strategies within the classroom that set the stage for PBIS implementation and improved student outcomes. This module will discuss components of behavior change, building relationships, classroom environment and other proactive strategies.

Learning Objectives:

  • Explain the importance of positive teacher-student relationships for learning and behavior change.
  • Describe at least three ways to arrange the classroom's physical environment in such a way that it supports positive student behaviors.
  • List at least three proactive strategies to support positive classroom behaviors and learning.
