This module focuses on strategies for supporting student engagement in the classroom including creating a positive environment, adjusting task difficulty, and using attention signals, activity sequencing, opportunities to respond, student choice, relevant instruction, and feedback.

- Explain the multiple comonents of student engagement, including the role of teacher behavior.

- Identify and explain at least 3 strategies for keeping students engaged in instruction.
