In this final module of the Tier 2 series, we bring together everything you've learned and focus on putting it into practice. Implementation is rarely a straight line, which is why this module is filled with guiding questions designed to help your team plan, anticipate challenges, and make confident decisions.

Learning Targets for Individuals

  • Describe why consistent processes and fidelity are essential for effective Tier 2 implementation.
  • Explain how outcome data and fidelity data are analyzed together to guide intervention decisions.
  • Identify key steps for preparing, implementing, and updating action plans at both the student and system level.

Learning Targets for Teams

  • Apply decision rules to determine when to continue, modify, intensify, fade, or exit students from Tier 2 interventions.
  • Develop or refine a written evaluation plan that outlines how, when, and what Tier 2 data will be reviewed.
  • Create student and system level action plans that document decisions, assign responsibilities, and establish timelines for follow-up.
  • Implement consistent data review and monitoring processes that promote fidelity, effectiveness, and sustainability of Tier 2 practices.
